Bronchitis is a condition that develops when the airways in the lungs, called bronchial tubes, become inflamed and cause coughing, often with mucus production.
What are 5 symptoms of bronchitis?
Some symptoms of acute bronchitis are:
- Chest discomfort.
- Cough that produces mucus -- the mucus may be clear or yellow-green.
- Fatigue.
- Fever -- usually low-grade.
- Shortness of breath that gets worse with activity.
- Wheezing, in people with asthma.
